適當?shù)男盘杺鬏斖莻€巨大的工程，特別是在過程控制工廠里。因為成千上萬個的現(xiàn)場信號需要聯(lián)接到DCS(集散控制系統(tǒng))。這樣做是為了使布線接線、屏蔽、浪涌保護更加清晰簡單，并實現(xiàn)精確、高效地信號轉(zhuǎn)換。

魏德米勒ACT20M系列隔離器，創(chuàng)新的技術(shù)將所用的功能都集中于6mm。該系列隔離器有雙通道隔離器可選，*地節(jié)省了電氣柜內(nèi)的空間。2.5kV的隔離電壓保證了高電氣隔離，以及測量精度高達0.05%加強了過程的可靠性和安全性。

在與安全相關的應用中，過程和能源管理系統(tǒng)中大約20%的信號是要進行處理的，比如緊急停車系統(tǒng)。它們主要任務就是在造成危險之前，立即并自動地開始糾正措施，直到工廠和工廠組件都關閉。魏德米勒的SAFE系列SIL3安全繼電器非常適用于這些應用。它按EN61508標準，通過TÜV Nord認證，安全等級達SIL3。
